Its another marketing strategy from the Astoria plaza hotel owners here in Ortigas, Manila, Philippines where they call you and offer you dinner for two on their hotel, then tour you on their hotel facilities, then surprise you for a one-on-one talk just like 'Family First'. What I hate about this is not telling you the whole story or agenda. Its a waste of time for you and them. It would be rude to turn them down after giving you a dinner, right? Bottom line is you have to decide after the one-on-one marketing talk. I really don't know if thats good or bad. It has pros and cons.
Any way, they'll still gonna give you the accommodation as gifts. But there's a deadline for reservation and use. You also have to make a P5k down payment, to be reimbursed to you after the trip.Well, its up to us if we're going to use it or not.

I was just wondering if you got the chance to use your certificate from Club Astoria? Did you encounter any problems? When they called me, they were pretty upfront about the dinner having a 90minute seminar on timesharing. I'm considering becoming a member, but I want to get online feedback from members first. Thanks
No I didn't, I heard it was too much hassle to book and you'll probably not gonna get a chance to be booked. plus you have to pay some charges.
